Emmerdale star who received the coronavirus vaccine says he feels "incredibly lucky" to have had the chance to get the jab. Patrick Mower, 82, who has played the character of Rodney Blackstock since 2000 received his vaccine this week.
A picture of him posing after getting the jab was shared on Lincolnshire's NHS Twitter account. According to the Tweet, he said: "Getting my Covid vaccination was incredibly simple and painless.
I feel incredibly lucky to have had it and would like to thank all the wonderful NHS staff for making it happen." The actor was one of the first in the UK to receive the jab as the country begins its mass roll-out – targeting over 80s first, reports Digital Spy.
