Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United, Wolves and Rangers could yet play home European games this season as a result of the Government's relaxing of quarantine rules for elite sport.
It was announced earlier this month that any arrivals to the United Kingdom from abroad would be required to quarantine in isolation for 14 days - a restriction which cast doubt on the ability for teams to host games against foreign teams.
But according to The Times those involved in elite sport will be exempt from the rule so long as a detailed plan setting out their planned movements and activities is approved.
