Family and friends of Kyle Livingston will come together this weekend for a mental health awareness walk in his memory. The 23-year-old Celtic fan and amateur footballer took his own life on August 12, 2018, following a battle with his own mental health.
Now his mum Carole Welsh and sisters Rachel Livingston Welsh and Kayla Welsh are encouraging locals to join them in a 'Walk 'N' Talk' mental health awareness event in his name.The 12-mile walk around East Kilbride to commemorate Kyle's birthday and anniversary will take place this Saturday, September 12, at 10am leaving from the Gardenhall Inn.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

Rachel told Lanarkshire Live: "Kyle struggled with his mental health and subsequently is what took him away from us. He was a huge part in our lives and the world went a bit darker when he passed. "We believe, especially now, mental health needs to be talked about.
