A man raped two young women following Covid lockdown flat parties, prosecutors allege. Louis Saha Matturie, 42, 'took advantage' of the women, who cannot be named for legal reasons, jurors heard.

Chester Crown Court heard Mr Matturie, referred as 'Saha', did not drink alcohol and the women were in a 'vulnerable' position.

Prosecutor Benjamin Aina KC told jurors: "There was also an element of trust that existed between the young women and Saha because on the surface he came across as a funny, nice man providing free alcohol and a pleasant environment, during the time when the country was in lockdown and recovering from the coronavirus pandemic. "It is the prosecution case that Saha took advantage of the environment and the vulnerabilities of the young women in this case." It is alleged that Mr Matturie raped the two women following separate parties in 2021.

It is also alleged he sexually assaulted another woman. The women are referred to in court as 'Woman One', 'Woman Two' and 'Woman Three'.
