Interestingly, a majority 45% of those who are working from home for the first time wished for a mix of working remotely and in-office given a choice, while 34% wanted to return to office premises full-time and 21% wanted to work remotely full-time, indicating a strong desire to work from home.
The analysis is based on 973 responses received between 05 June and 22 June. The COVID-19 pandemic has transformed the way people work by introducing remote working for people who have always worked from an office.
Companies such as Facebook and Twitter have given their employees the option to permanently work from home. Standard office working hours may become a thing of the past.
