England may not play again until 2021 in a blow to Gareth Southgate's plans. International football has had to take a backseat, as has much of society, during the coronavirus crisis.
It has already seen the European Championships, that were meant to go ahead this summer, postponed until next year. But it might not be just the Euros that are seen next in 2021, with the Three Lions likely to be given the same fate.
According to the Mirror, FA bosses are bracing themselves for a decision to ban all international football until next year at the earliest.
Though no decision has been formally made, 55 national associations underwent a video call conference to discuss the situation.
