Girls play thrilling tennis on neighbouring rooftops during Covid-19 lockdown

Two young girls have taken tennis to a new level as they practised on their rooftops while following social distancing rules.

Vittoria, 14, and Carola, 11, from the Ligurian town of Finale Ligure in Italy, are members of a local tennis club and they have found a way to keep themselves trained amid coronavirus outbreak.

Video posted on social media shows the girls lofting shots over the guard rails and the road, running round not only their backhands but also boiler vents as the ball bounces on concrete slabs.

They manage a 12-shot rally during a 24-second clip as they play from the rooftops of neighbouring buildings. Max Oliveri, whose daughter Vittoria is one of the rooftop players along with Carola Pessina, told Reuters he captured
