A Good Morning Britain star has been taken to hospital, telling fans he was facing a "nightmare" after being rushed in to see doctors late last night.
Iain Dale, a popular commentator on the ITV show as well as a host in his own right on radio station LBC, explained that he had been kept waiting more than three hours in A&E.
He explained to his listeners why he wouldn't be on the radio last night by sharing a picture from the waiting room of the A&E wing of a hospital, writing: "The reason I’m not presenting my show this evening…" The 62-year-old wrote: "Three and a half hours in A&E and it looks like a gall bladder issue. They’re running tests.
Might have to come back tomorrow." He later updated fans writing: "Firstly, thanks for all the good wishes. I went to A&E last night at 9pm with acute pain on the right hand side of my chest. "I am now in intensive care awaiting an operation to remove my gall bladder.
