Greggs reopens 'small number of stores' in trial ahead of UK-wide return to trade

Fast food fans are slowly being able to tuck back into their favourite pastries and savoury treats now that Greggs has begun reopening some of its stores.

The popular bakery chain has opened a small number of stores in the North East of England on a trial basis as the UK begins to slowly try to establish a balance between coronavirus lockdown procedures and the reopening of businesses.

Greggs made the decision to shutter up all of it’s shops across the UK on March 23, but now the chain is testing out safety measures in a selection of outlets with the intention of rolling out the measures nationwide if they prove successful.
