Harry Maguire has revealed he used to idolised Manchester United great Rio Ferdinand while growing up. The United captain admitted that he models his game on the former England defender, who won six Premier League titles and the 2008 Champions League at Old Trafford, as well as 81 international caps.
Maguire is still only 27 and has some way to go if he wants to emulate those achievements. But having signed for United last summer from Leicester in a deal worth £80million, the centre-back has already earned the captain's armband and become a cornerstone of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's defence.
