People are being urged to keep having sex because it is “healthy”, despite strict coronavirus social distancing measures. Director General of the Danish Health Authority, Søren Brostrøm, said the risks associated with sex are insignificant and implied the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
He told Danish radio, the Health Authority’s approach to social distancing does not include sex if participants are in a steady or casual relationships.
Mr Brostrøm later added that even singles who have a relatively high number of different sexual partners should not feel constrained by social distancing measures.
