A brutal intruder attacked Eileen Blane in her own home, beating her to the ground and dragging her across the floor before snatching a wedding ring from her finger.
Her attacker fled with the ring and £30 in cash. Heart-broken, the 87-year-old great gran from Stretford died from her injuries eight weeks later.
Today (Wednesday April 1), on the third anniversary of her death, her killer has still not been brought to justice and, as far as Eileen's family is concerned, has 'got away with murder'.
To mark the anniversary, Eileen's family will exchange texts to remember her, unable to meet up because of the national coronavirus lockdown.
