The Health Secretary says there is no guarantee a vaccine will be found for coronavirus. Matt Hancock made the comments during an interview with Sky News, despite constant mentions of a vaccine being key to the fight against the spread of the virus during the government's daily press briefings.
The government launched a new taskforce last month to help find a coronavirus vaccine and find potential new treatments, including using anti-malaria medication to reduce the impact of the deadly disease.
They promised to prepare for mass manufacture of a vaccine when one becomes available but they did warn that this could still take many months.
