Outspoken Good Morning Britain co-host Piers Morgan has been hit by yet another flood of Ofcom complaints. The 55 year old, who co-presents GMB with Susanna Reid, has stacked up 1,645 complaints in just five days over his notoriously brutal interviews with government ministers over the coronavirus crisis.
Between 22nd and 27th April, Ofcom received the complaints from viewers, some of which accused him of "bullying", especially over his conduct with Helen Whately and Matt Hancock.
Receiving almost 4000 complaints in total, he was recently cleared by the broadcasting regulator. Ofcom justified their decision as they ruled "that broadcasters are able to hold those making political decisions to account." Piers wrote afterwards: "I'm glad
