A multimillionaire has filed a High Court challenge against the country's coronavirus lockdown. Simon Dolan, who is valued at £200 million on the Sunday Times Rich List, fears the restrictions could kill more people than they save.
He says the lockdown will bring an economic slump potentially leading to more suicides and people leaving health conditions unchecked.
Simon is bringing the claim against Health Secretary Matt Hancock and Education Secretary Gavin Williamson. He is seeking a judicial review of the regulations, which he claims are costing the economy £2.5 billion a day.
