The Prime Minister has announced today that tighter restrictions will be implemented as part of a move to Plan B. In response to the emergence of the Omicron variant that was originally discovered in South Africa, Plan B aims to alleviate unsustainable pressure on the NHS.
The measures brought in as part of Plan B include new guidance to work at home where possible and the introduction of vaccine passports at certain venues.
