First off, a declaration of interest: I have been playing and running games of Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) since 1983 when I was 11 years old.
Thirty-seven years later and I still play at least once a week with my family and friends. I have about 600 dice, a couple of thousand miniature figurines, tonnes of floorplans and play aids, and more adventures and source books than I can fit in my study.
Or our pantry. I am that nerd. Been there, got the t-shirt. For almost 40 years, through job changes and all the stuff life throws at us, I've continued to play and DM (Dungeon Master) games for family, friends and strangers - at home and at conventions here and in the U.S.
