A woman with breast cancer says she feels like she has been "handed a death sentence" after a potentially life saving operation was cancelled at short notice due to coronavirus.
Teacher Rebecca Glenn is one of scores of people who have been left feeling upset and anxious over their future after vital operations were postponed due to the pandemic.
Rebecca, 38, was diagnosed with stage one breast cancer at the start of this month after finding a lump. She was due to undergo a lumpectomy on her right breast and a sentinal node biopsy at North Manchester General Hospital on April 2 before beginning a course of chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
