George Floyd protests: Anti-racism demonstrations held throughout Toronto

For the second day, anti-racism demonstrators marched through the streets of Toronto. As Seán O’Shea reports, it was a peaceful protest except for one arrest of a person at city hall who was wearing black face paint and clashing with others.

Scots cops feel 'pressured' to 'take the knee' at Black Lives Matter demos

Police union leaders have revealed officers have raised fears over being pressured to “take the knee” at demos held today in memory of George Floyd. Rallies organised by Black Lives Matter are expected to take place in Edinburgh and Glasgow despite Covid-19 lockdown restrictions still being in place.
