Kate Middleton has been spotted in a helicopter with husband Prince William after she announced she has been diagnosed with cancer.The Prince and Princess of Wales were today seen boarding a helicopter on their way to their country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, for an Easter break.
It is thought they will be joined by their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Following Friday's devastating news that Princess Kate has been diagnosed with a form of cancer and is now undergoing preventative chemotherapy, the family are not expected to attend next week's Easter church service in Windsor and will spend their holidays in Norfolk instead.
A Kensington Palace spokesperson said on Friday: "The Princess will return to official duties when she is cleared to do so by her medical team. "She is in good spirits and is focused on making a full recovery." The late Queen Elizabeth II gifted the Norfork mansion to Prince William and Princess Kate as a wedding present.The Georgian property, built in 1802, on the Royal family's Sandringham estate, is also where the Kate and William took the children during the coronavirus pandemic.
In an emotional video message issued on Friday, 22 March, the mum-of-three admitted it had been "an incredibly tough couple of months".
