Children may not be allowed to bring pencil cases to school when they re-open, England’s Deputy Chief Medical Officer has suggested.
Dr Jenny Harries said scientists are looking at what kids will be allowed to bring into the classroom when schooling returns to normal.
It is unlikely pencil cases will be allowed, but lunch boxes could make the cut, and schools will have to increase measures to make sure surfaces are clean.
