Leeds United have come under fire after the club's 'crowdie' scheme saw a cutout of Osama Bin Laden placed in the stands at Elland Road.
Leeds are due to host Fulham in the Championship on Saturday in their first home game back since the season was restarted amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In a bid to fill the stands while supporters are not permitted to attend games, Leeds set up their 'crowdie' initiative. And, in images circling on social media, it appears one fan paid for a cutout of Bin Laden to be part of the crowd.Among those sharing the image was comedian and Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness, who posted the picture on Twitter with the caption: "Nothing surprises me anymore in 2020?
