UK supermarkets Lidl and Waitrose have recalled food products over safety fears. The Food Standards agency has issued alerts for both supermarkets, over fears products may not be fit for consumption.
The affected items have been removed from shelves, and shoppers are being urged not to consume them, and instead return them to the store in which they were bought for a full refund.
The FSA says: "Waitrose & Partners is recalling Waitrose N°1 Charentes Butter Croissants, packs of 2 units because they have been filled with an incorrect product which contains soya that is not declared on the label.
This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to soya." The following products are affected: Pack size: 2x units Best
