Love Island bosses are said to be considering the possibility of the show returning in the autumn. Last week ITV announced the hit reality series would not be going ahead this summer due to the coronavirus.

The safety and well being of those involved were the grounds behind the decision to push back the show to next year but now it seems producers are reconsidering.

The Sun on Sunday has reported that producers have been discussing the possibility of bringing back the show in September or October.

If the new schedule goes ahead it may also mean a new location could be on the cards. The show is usually filmed in Majorca but during the early autumn months, the island may be too cold.
