Madeleine McCann’s mum has ploughed £170,000 from the sale of her book into the search for her over the past three years. Former GP Kate wrote Madeleine: Our Daughter’s Disappearance And The Continuing Search For Her nine years ago.
But it continues to sell well and since March 2017 has brought in royalties worth £169,431 after tax. The cash was paid into Madeleine’s Fund: Leaving No Stone Unturned Limited which is run by Kate and her heart specialist husband Gerry to handle cash donated by the public to help look for the youngster who vanished on holiday in Portugal in 2007.
