The Maharashtra government has decided to provide free of cost bus services from Monday to people stranded in various parts of the state to travel to their homes during the lockdown period, transport minister Anil Parab said on Saturday.
The bus service will be made available on the condition of fulfilling certain requirements to ensure that coronavirus does not spread to other parts of the state.
Stranded people including labourers, students and pilgrims will be allowed to travel. However, people living in containment zones will not be allowed to travel.
