A MAN who bled to death in an Airdrie street on Easter Sunday after allegedly being stabbed has been named locally as Peter Mcelroy.Local sources told the Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser's sister paper the Daily Record Peter, 48, died at the corner of Bell Street and High Street at 4.40pm.Police and paramedics wearing protective masks due to the Covid-19 pandemic raced to the scene after receiving reports of a “disturbance” and surrounded the victim.But, sadly, Peter died soon after and a police cordon was thrown up and patrol cars used to block off the road.Police Scotland have now revealed a 38-year-old man has been arrested in connection with Peter's death.A spokesperson for the force said: "We can confirm that a man, 38, has been
