Gucci Mane has faced a furious backlash after he took to Twitter to wish death on his "haters". The Alabama-born star tweeted the controversial message as his 8.4 million followers enjoyed the Easter Sunday holiday.
Gucci, 40, whose real name is Radric Delantic Davis, wrote: "I pray my haters die of coronavirus," alongside an emoji of a person wearing a mask.
The post which has since been 'liked' over 61,600 times instantly caused backlash for the dad-of-one, with many taking to the replies section to slam the message.
American MMA star Gerald Harris replied: "Man you need some online church services and a hug. This is the worst timed tweet ever.
