Raheem, Nathaniel and Dayon Pinder PHOENIXVILLE, Pa. - Chester County officials announce an arrest in a nearly two-year-old Phoenixville murder case.According to the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and Phoenixville Police, three members of one family are in custody and charged with the death of 73-year-old Ira Solomon.Authorities say 46-year-old Raheem Pinder, of Pottstown, 44-year-old Dayon Pinder, of West Chester and 49-year-old Philadelphia resident Nathaniel Pinder – two brothers and a cousin – were arrested and charged with murder, robbery, conspiracy and related charges.According to officials, Phoenixville police and paramedics were called on December 29, 2020, about 1 p.m., to the 400 block of Dayton Street, on the report of a person dead.Responding officers found 73-year-old Solomon on the kitchen floor, with a gunshot wound to the head. He was declared dead at the scene.Police and Chester County officials credit witnesses and other acquaintances, along with home video recordings on Dayton Street, and with surveillance from an Uwchlan Township hotel, where one of the defendants was a long-term guest, with the eventual arrest of the three men.Raheem Pinder was arrested on August 24th and is being held without bail at Chester County Prison.

PHILADELPHIA - The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the fatal shooting of a Philadelphia man in Atlantic City. According to authorities, the shooting happened on Thursday around 12:06 a.m. Officials say officers from the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a Shot Spotter Alert near the 1300 block of Baltic Avenue. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESOfficers found 31-year-old Jordan Eaddy and he was pronounced dead on scene, according to the Prosecutor's Office. Authorities did not detail the extent of his injuries. Police are urging anyone with information on the shooting to contact the prosecutor's office at 609-909-7800.

(Jeremy Drey/MediaNews Group/Reading Eagle via Getty Images) A woman had a terrifying experience while heading to work when she discovered a mostly naked man sleeping in the back seat of her SUV, according to police Wednesday.The woman was listening to a podcast while traveling for almost an hour from her home in Providence, Rhode Island to Easton, Massachusetts late Sunday night unaware that the man was in her vehicle.Easton, Massachusetts Police said in a release that when the woman arrived to work she spotted the man lying on the floor of her Chevrolet Tahoe and she contacted them immediately.Officers arrived at the scene and found the man, identified as 21-year-old Jose Osorio, of Providence, Rhode Island, asleep and partially clothed with a pair of shorts around one leg and a shirt wrapped around one arm, leaving the rest of his body uncovered.Authorities said Osorio appeared to be "extremely intoxicated" and learned through an interpreter that he consumed a large amount of alcohol and marijuana earlier in the day.

PHILADELPHIA - Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department are working on learning more about a shooting that left a man in critical condition.  Chief Inspector Scott Small says officers with the 8th District received a 911 call for a report of a shooting victim at Frankford Avenue and Academy Road around 11:45 p.m.

PHILADELPHIA - Officers with the Philadelphia Police Department's Shooting Investigation Group are investigating a double shooting in Mayfair. According to police, officers received a 9011 call reporting gunshots at Charles Street and Magee Avenue early Thursday morning. Officials say officers found a crime scene with six shell casings on the sidewalk, but no victims were present. Police were later notified that two men showed up at Frankford Hospital with injuries, authorities say. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAccording to Chief Inspector Scott Small, a 31-year-old man was shot in the face and a 29-year-old man was shot in his back. Both men were transported to trauma hospitals, where they are in critical condition. Police did not release any additional information and said they are checking cameras in the area. 

This is the first known co-infection case of the 3 viruses and it is yet to be understood whether the combination may aggravate the patient's condition. In a first, a 36-year-old man in Italy tested positive for Monkeypox, COVID-19 and HIV at the same time.

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a dog attack that left two people in the hospital early Thursday morning. Authorities say 25th District officers responded to the area of N 5th Street and W Venango Street just after 1 a.m. for reports of a person down. Chief Inspector Scott Small says responding officers arrived on scene and encountered a man who was being bitten by a pit bull mix. According to police, he was bleeding from various wounds to his head, neck, body, arms and legs. Small says the dog was biting on the man's arm as his family members used a bat to try to get the animal to release the man. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESAn officer discharged his weapon, shooting the dog in the side, causing it to let the man go, Small says. Police transported the man to the hospital, where he is in critical condition from his injuries, according to officials. The man's wife was also suffering from a dog bite wound to her leg, according to Small. Authorities say medics transported her to Temple University Hospital, where she is in stable condition. Small says the SPCA and Philadelphia Animal Control were called in to investigate.Police did not provide an update on the status of the dog's injuries. Police say a pit bull mix has been shot by police after it attacked its owners in Hunting Park, leaving a man in critical condition and a woman in stable condition.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - A registered sex offender was arrested Friday after jumping a 6-foot fence, breaking into an elementary school campus in Riverside and attempting to assault a young girl inside the school's bathroom, according to the Riverside Police Department.Thirty-two-year-old Logan Nighswonger of Riverside was arrested Friday and is currently being held without bail.Officers say that just after noon Friday, officials received reports that a man had jumped the fence and entered a girls' bathroom at McAuliffe Elementary School. An employee saw Nighswonger leave the bathroom and heard a girl crying inside.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA - A 27-year-old man is dead after he was shot in the chest and the neck in North Philadelphia.Officials say the shooting happened Monday night, just before 8:30, on the 2800 block of North 26th Street.Responding officers found the 27-year-old man suffering from gunshots to the chest and neck.The man was taken to Temple University Hospital where he died a short time later.Police say an investigation is ongoing and they say no arrests have been made nor any weapons recovered.

KENSINGTON - A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times and killed in Philadelphia's Kensington section Monday night.Officials say police responded to reports of a shooting Monday, just after 7:15 p.m., on the 3200 block of H Street.When police arrived, they found a 25-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the head.MORE HEADLINES:SEPTA police rushed him to Temple University Hospital where he died.Authorities say an investigation is underway and no arrests have been made.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police say multiple people were injured during an incident at a Bucks County playground late Tuesday night before gunfire erupted in a nearby neighborhood. Officers in Falls Township responded to Penn Valley Elementary School on the 100 block of North Turn Lane around 11:45 p.m. for reports of a disturbance.According to investigators, two groups had met on the school grounds for a fight which ended with four people being stabbed.

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a shooting where an attempted robbery victim gained control over a suspect and shot him. According to police, the attempted robbery occurred on the 8000 block of Rodney Street in a driveway. Authorities say a man was unloading groceries from his car when a suspect approached him, saying, "This is a robbery," and pointed a gun at him. After a struggle over the weapon ensued, the victim was able to gain control of the gun, which discharged one time, grazing the suspect in the abdomen, according to police. Officials say the suspect was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was placed in stable condition. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESPolice say the victim sustained an injury from a bite on his hand, but he did no seek medical treatment. According to authorities, police recovered the weapon used and the suspect is under arrest. FOX 29's Kelly Rule captured this image which appears to show the victim's groceries and the suspect's gun used in the incident still on the front seat of the victim's car. This is a developing story.

Kevin O'Connell has been charged in connection with two carjackings where he is accused of using a syringe to threaten victims.  BUCKS COUNTY, Pa - The Bucks County District Attorney's Office has filed charges against a man who is accused of using a syringe to threaten people before stealing their cars. According to authorities, Kevin O'Connell threatened to inject victims with a syringe in two carjackings. The most recent carjacking, which left an 83-year-old woman hospitalized, was on Friday morning in Bristol Borough, according to the DA's Office. Police responded to the 200 block of Commerce Circle around 10:00 a.m.

PHILADELPHIA - Investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department are searching for three suspects accused of robbing a man at a Philadelphia gas station before fleeing in a stolen car. According to police, the robbery happened on August 12 at 9:30 a.m.

PHILADELPHIA - A rash of broad daylight shootings across Philadelphia on Tuesday left at least two people dead and six others injured. Officers from the Philadelphia Police Department responded to four different shootings in different parts of the city between 3:40 p.m. and 4:50 p.m. Authorities say a 40-year-old man in Overbrook suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound to the foot and was brought to the hospital by responding officers. A short time later, officers in North Philadelphia were called to the 1800 block of Ringgold Street where police say a 31-year-old man died after being shot in the head. MORE LOCAL HEADLINESIn the city's Kensington neighborhood, police say a 27-year-old man was critically injured after he was shot at least 5 times around 4:30 p.m.The afternoon spate of gunfire reached a head in West Philadelphia where police say four men were shot by a lone gunman while sitting on a street corner. Police said a 33-year-old man was shot six times, including once in the face and torso.
