Manchester Airport will close two terminals due to a 'significant fall' in passenger numbers amid the coronavirus pandemic. Terminal Two and Terminal Three will close from Wednesday, March 25 until further notice.

All flights due to depart from these terminals will now do so from Terminal One. Passengers due to return via either of the terminals will go through Terminal One.

Airport bosses confirmed anyone needing to collect a vehicle from one of Manchester Airport's car park will receive assistance to do so.

The Manchester Evening News understands that due to staffing plans already in place, the announcement will not have a direct impact on workers.
