Manchester United have not triggered the one-year extension in Paul Pogba's contract and remain relaxed about his future. Pogba, 27, is technically approaching the last year of his deal and United have the option of an additional year to tie him to the club until 2022.
United's decision to delay the extension has allowed Pogba's agent Mino Raiola to spin the narrative that Pogba is out of contract next year amid interest from Real Madrid and Juventus.
Despite the incessant noise from Raiola about his client's future, the MEN understands United have not exercised the one-year option in Pogba's contract to quell speculation.
