Marianne Faithfull has thanked doctors and nurses for ‘saving her life’ following fears she had been struck down with coronavirus.
The 73-year-old singer was admitted to hospital with symptoms of Covid-19 and was finally discharged after a three-week stay.
Taking to Twitter on her return home, Marianne praised the doctors and nurses who had treated her, as well as those wishing her better.
She posted: ‘I want to thank the doctors and nurses who were so good and basically saved my life. ‘Thank you all again for all your care, love, thoughts, prayers and wishes.
