Merseyside police's Everton vs Liverpool stance with clubs to argue case for home games

Merseyside police will not stand in the way of Premier League games in Liverpool once the season resumes – including the Reds' clash with neighbours Everton at Goodison Park.

But they will still need the green light from the local Safety Advisory Group who will base their decision on Government and Public Health England advice.
