Timo Werner has told Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp he’ll wait for them - despite interest from the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.
Klopp has earmarked the RB Leipzig forward as a priority target during the upcoming window but the Reds know he will not come cheap.
Werner is currently under contract until 2023 and Liverpool have until 15 June to meet his release clause of €60m (£52.7m). Liverpool have been long-term admirers of his talent but recent reports have seen United and Chelsea keep tabs on his situation.
