Liverpool have reportedly withdrawn from the race for Timo Werner as RB Leipzig refuse to sell the striker for any less than his release clause.
The Mirror claim the Reds will not pursue Werner for any more than their £30million valuation due to the implications of the coronavirus pandemic.
Werner, reported to have his heart set on a move to Anfield, was said to have spoken personally to manager Jurgen Klopp via a Zoom call.
But he has reportedly been told straight by Klopp that a deal is unlikely to happen as he was happy to give Werner the full picture.
