A group of MPs have warned the English Football League that it might have just weeks left to save itself from financial ruin due to the Covid-19 crisis.
Around 18 politicians have called for urgent talks with the FA and EFL to address the crippling impact of the pandemic on clubs below the top flight.
EFL chairman Rick Parry warned last month that clubs would face a financial black hole of £200m unless the season was completed.
A host of clubs are facing administration or going bankrupt due to the outbreak of the virus that forced the season to be suspended in March.
