The Government has agreed a deal with a pharma firm to supply a 'game changing' coronavirus antibody test. The test will be free of charge to people who need them, Number 10 confirmed this morning.

And the PM's spokesman said NHS and care workers will be prioritised when the test is released. It's understood the test is being provided by swiss drug giant Roche - and is the test health chiefs said last week was "100%" effective at detecting Covid-19 antibodies.

The tests will be rolled out in the weeks to come and could pave the way out of lockdown. Health Secretary Matt Hancock is expected to reveal more details of the rollout later today.
