Tuesday afternoon. Just after 12:15 p.m., D.C. police responded to the shooting near Stewart Funeral Home on the 4000 block of Benning Road NE.Once officers arrived at the scene, they found two men, and two women suffering from gunshot wounds.

While three victims were transported to local hospitals with life-threatening injuries, first responders stayed with one man who showed no signs of life until he was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Police have identified the victim who died as 29-year-old Terrell Coghill. In a press conference, D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee III told reporters the shooting occurred as a funeral was being let out.

LOS ANGELES - A Long Beach man allegedly drove from California to North Ogden, Utah to kill his brother then set his house on fire, according to the Weber County Attorney's Office.Officials say on April 27, Jeffrey Roberts, 66, arrived at his brother's home around 7:11 p.m., parked his van in the driveway, approached the front door and rang the doorbell. Collapse at Colorado resort leaves 6 hurt, 2 with life-threatening injuries

A mechanical equipment collapsed Saturday at Gaylord Rockies resort. (Credit: Aurora Fire Rescue) AURORA, Colo. - The Aurora Fire Rescue in Colorado said six people were injured Saturday when a piece of mechanical equipment collapsed at the Gaylord Rockies resort.Fire crews didn't specify what piece of equipment collapsed, but said it happened in the aquatics area. Of the six people hurt, two sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to local hospitals. According to FOX 31, authorities said 50 people were in the pool at the time of the incident.
