A naked opium addict has been arrested on suspicion of murdering two priests with a sword during a botched temple robbery in India.
The man – known only as ‘Raju’ – was found wandering the streets of Bulandshahr after the priests, aged 45 and 52, were butchered.
He allegedly claimed the attack was “the will of god”. Government official Ravindra Kumar said: “Raju said he went into the temple and murdered the priests. "The accused claimed it was the will of God." A local police officer added: "The two priests lived here at the temple. “One person named Raju took away a set of tongs for which he was scolded and abused by the priests. “After the murder, villagers were looking for him and spotted him drugged.” It comes just days after two
