The National League could be facing a civil war after deciding to abandon the season due to the coronavirus crisis. The League has announced all remaining matches will be cancelled - with clubs now having to vote on how best to decide the season in all three divisions.
But with the prospect of certain clubs missing out on promotion and others keen to declare the season null and void to beat relegation, League bosses are bracing themselves for a huge fall out between those involved.
Clubs have been left in the dark about what the possible options will be, while the likes of National League leaders Barrow and second-placed Harrogate fearing others will now campaign to have the season voided to stop them from getting promoted to League Two.
