Most people infected with the Coronavirus do not display any symptoms, new research has found. Experts in China say that around 80% of those who caught the virus did not get ill, the Daily Star has reported.

Now the influential British Medical Journal has reported on the findings. From April 1, China started publishing statistics on cases of people who tested positive but who had no symptoms.The people who are asymptomatic are believed to be spreading the Covid-19 strain to the wider public.China's National Health Commission says that 130 of 166 of new infections found - 78% - identified in the 24 hours to the afternoon of April 1, showed no symptoms.The data also revealed that most of the 36 cases in which patients showed symptoms
