Celtic manager Neil Lennon has hit back at claims the club's ninth league title in a row is "tainted". Fans of Glasgow rivals Rangers have suggested the 2019/20 season should have an asterisk next to it in the record books after it was ended early due to the coronavirus crisis in an SPFL board meeting on Monday.

With a 13-point advantage when the leagues were shut down in March, the Hoops held a massive lead over their rivals but theoretically could still have been caught.

But the Celtic boss has dismissed such claims - and remarked that the "tainted title" narrative suggests the club have been up to no good.
