NJ officials give an update during press conference Wednesday on new COVID-19 cases TRENTON, N.J. - New Jersey health officials announced more than 3,730 new cases of coronavirus and 75 new deaths on Sunday.

The state total now sits at 109,038 cases and 5,938 deaths. Despite some positive signs, like the leveling off of cases and the increasing time it takes for the number of people with COVID-19 to double, Murphy said there are still weeks to go of social distancing.
