Stressed and tired NHS staff have had a load taken off their feet with generous donations of hundreds of sofa beds and beanbags.
As many as 160 staff break areas have been made more relaxing amid the coronavirus crisis after Brit firms MADE and DFS gave up hundreds of items for free.
A report on the website of the British Medical Journal confirms that sofas, sofabeds, and other items such as crockery have been gifted to hospitals around the UK.
MADE said it has helped to upgrade the staff rooms of 160 departments in 122 hospitals across the UK including Bristol, Brighton, and Bangor.
