A parliamentary inquiry must be launched into the Scottish Government's initial response to the coronavirus pandemic last year, Labour had demanded.
The party claimed SNP ministers had made "identical errors" to their counterparts in Westminster during the early stages of the covid crisis in the first three months of 2020.
It would form an additional probe to the public inquiry previously announced by the Scottish Government, which will scrutinise decisions that were taken over the course of the pandemic.
It comes as a cross-party group of MPs today published a damning report that found thousands of people died from the virus due to delays in implementing lockdown and social distancing rules.
