Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our personalised newsletter.North Lanarkshire Trade Union Council (NLTUC) has hit out over “serious concerns” workers have about non-compliance with Scottish Government guidelines on Covid-19.In a lengthy statement the organisation say it felt compelled to express concerns about adherence to, and enforcement of, guidelines to control the spread of coronavirus.The trade union council has also written to both North Lanarkshire Council chief executive Des Murray, and council leader Jim Logue, expressing its support for an event to recognise key workers’ efforts during the height of the crisis.The behaviour of sections of the public including school-age children also came in.
