Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has written an open letter to the Government pleading for an end to child poverty.The 22-year-old has been praised throughout the coronavirus pandemic for his work in preventing children from going hungry.He has been working with charity FareShare UK during lockdown and has raised about £20million.The England international says he "will keep fighting until no child in the UK has to worry about where their next meal is coming from".He wrote: “The Government has taken a ‘whatever it takes’ approach to the economy - I’m asking you today to extend that same thinking to protecting all vulnerable children across England.“I encourage you to hear their pleas and find your humanity.
