Parking restrictions across Manchester will be relaxed to help key workers and city centre residents. Manchester Council have announced an overhaul to parking restrictions in the city, as the country works to overcome the coronavirus pandemic.
All council car parks and those run jointly with NCP, will now be free to use for key workers and residents who have yellow line restrictions outside their properties.
NCP have also published a full list of car parks that will be made freely available across the city. It comes after residents working from home said they had been made to park further away to avoid restrictions, putting their vehicles at more risk of crime.
