A photo has emerged showing a collection of rubbish that landed a mum on benefits a £400 fly-tipping fine that left her stunned.
Sarah Capewell, 34, had dismantled a shed and cleared items from her garden so her children had a play area during the coronavirus lockdown.
The mum-of-three propped the shed parts up against a back fence in an alleyway, along with an old pram, TV and baby see-saw so that her dad could take them to a tip when it reopened in Stoke-on-Trent.
But Miss Capewell was slapped with a £400 fixed penalty notice after a resident complained, and council bosses have defended the decision to fine her, saying the rubbish had been left behind the home for three weeks, StokeonTrentLive reports.
