Proposals to make the new Troon Library more accessible have been approved.Ayrshire Live previously told in April last year how the library was to relocate to the town’s Municipal Buildings, while the old library would be converted into a nursery.Now plans to build an external wheelchair lift, to ensure easier access to disabled patrons, have been given the green light.The plans were rubber stamped by council planners, so too was a request to make alterations at the historic municipal buildings.The Municipal Buildings are category B listed, dating from 1932.
